Growing up in West Michigan, the Hex hatch was our Super Bowl as Trout fisherman. Every fly tyer has their favorite patterns, and this one happens to be my favorite dun. The Ghost Hex was born on the Big Sable River near Free Soil, Michigan. My dad had a cabin between the Big Sable, and the Little Mannistee, and we loved the Sable for Browns, and the LM for Steelhead. Such good memories are coming to mind as I type this bio.
